So I'm writing a script, and I've gotten to just the last part where I'm trying to optimize my code. In order to do this, I have another program called 'PerformanceMonitor.inc' that I would like to include in my script. I've read through the DXL manual and several forum posts, and from what I can tell I'm properly including this document, but I get a syntax error every time. The following is the line of code I'm using to include.
#include <c:\\Users\\ruggiero\\Documents\\DXL\\PerformanceMonitor.inc> When I run my script with this line, I get the following error:
-E- DXL: <c:\\Users\\ruggiero\\Documents\\DXL\\PerformanceMonitor.inc:265> syntax error Included from: <Line:22> -I- DXL: All done. Errors reported: 1. Warnings reported: 0. An interesting thing to note is that if I change the file path to something I know doesn't exist (i.e. DXL\\PerformanceMonitor123456789.inc), I get an error saying that the file cannot be opened. So it would seem that the file, when the correct path is used, is able to be opened, but I still get this syntax error.
Any help would be greatly appreciate! NRuggiero - Wed Jun 20 15:18:51 EDT 2018 |
Re: Can't #include a file The error is telling you there is a syntax error INSIDE the file PerformanceMonitor.inc, at line 265 ... This is not an error, that there is a problem with including the file. Regards, Mathias |
